Our Lady of Fatima in 1917 was adamant to her children that they beware of the sexual morays that pave the way to hell for many to come. The need for reparations that come from sexual sin is dire.
As someone that has been victim to the sexual addiction this book has been helpful, but I wish that I had someone who had read this book when I was in my simultaneous conversion to Jesus Christ and my attempts to rid myself of my unholy lust. Fr Bellusci’s short and thorough book will be eminently useful to the secular psychologist, but eminently useful to the Christian psychologist as one of the most pertinent aspects of the work is St Thomas’ Christian anthropology of the sinner turning towards God. Sin like this darkness us and puts us into the slavery of our passions where young men are turned away from getting out of their heads and bodies to the ecstasy of real life with the Lord. Fr Belluci’s book is a practical look from a psychological trained experienced orthodox priest, on how to bring us back to God, onto the long road to health.
