A Lenten Retreat | March 6 | 7:00PM

Combatting the Evil One by the power of Our Lord
This Lenten retreat is based on the writings of Gabriele Amorth, Gianluigi Pasquale, and Saint Padre Pio. The power of evil forces is identified in the light of Scriptures. Fr. Bellusci will unveil Padre Pio’s interior life and his battle with evil forces. Spiritual battle in the life of Padre Pio teaches us our need for Jesus Christ and the Sacraments of the Church. We are victorious in Christ who is our strength.
(Grow strong in the Lord, with the strength of his power. Ephesians 6:10)
Come and join our Lenten retreat with Fr. David Bellusci, OP on Saturday, March 6, 2021 @7:00PM.

Why are we drawn to sanctity? What can we learn from the life of Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati? This Lenten retreat focusses on “praying with Blessed Pier Giorgio.” Drawing from his Roman Catholic faith, his choices, and his sacrifices, we discover the centrality of the Sacraments in Pier Giorgio’s life and the value of friendship while keeping up with his studies. An avid mountain-climber the ascent towards “the High,” Verso l’alto, expressed our journey to God. Pier Giorgio prayed in Churches and in Shrines, with friends and alone; but to be a Catholic for Pier Giorgio meant to be a person guided by truth, filled with hope and joy.
